The
focus of the HRH Fellow for Educational Leadership Development is centered on
innovative programming, developed by an individual or organization, with
willingness to share the supportive materials and resources for adaptation by
other fraternal organizations and peers. Additionally, selection of the Fellow
concentrates on the overall breadth of the organization served and the ability
of such programming to generate lasting change and deliver desired results over
a significant period.
All member fraternities with representation in the Fraternity Executives Association are eligible for
nomination; the Fellow is awarded during the banquet programming of the annual
FEA meeting held each summer.
The HRH Fellow winner receives a $2,500 cash reward and
framed certificate and the runner-up receives a $1,000 cash reward. For a

HRH Fellow Recipients
Motivation for the Fellow is based on a core understanding
and belief; necessary implementation of risk management policies and liability
programs among fraternal organizations in the 1980's and beyond required the
redirection of a great deal of human and financial resources from positive
program development to policy enforcement and procurement of insurance. As the fraternal
community continues to provide positive programming and initiatives to
compliment these policies, recognition must be provided to those who
continually pioneer a new vision and fundamental education.
It is the mission of HRH/Kirklin & Co., LLC to focus the
attention of fraternal organizations and individuals upon successful
program/initiative development within the Greek community and reward these
leaders for their efforts to realign their membership and others with the
founding values of their fraternity.
In 2007, 10 organizations were nominated and applied for the
Fellow. Each nomination provided recognition
and awareness of the respective educational leadership program or initiative
and the innovative measures of the organization to offer positive resources and
materials for their members now and in the future.
